Barking Fox Farm offers Ladybug Cottage, one of its cozy romantic cabin rentals in South Carolina. Ladybug Cottage, our dog-friendly B&B, was named after our twenty-seven-year-old Quarter Horse that I still ride. It features French doors that open to a spacious covered deck overlooking one of the horse pastures. Ladybug Cottage offers a peaceful countryside escape with dog-friendly accommodations, charming cottage rooms, and relaxing farm stays. Guests can enjoy cozy cabins, vacation rentals, and holiday homes while exploring Asheville, NC. Perfect for weekend escapes, family vacations, and romantic stays, our farm creates unforgettable memories for both humans and dogs in peaceful South Carolina cottages.

The large crown moldings and Dutch baroque chandelier provide an old world charm. It is furnished throughout with antique furniture including part of our antique picture frame collection, creating a romantic luxury room experience for couples seeking comfort, warmth, and timeless countryside beauty.

There is also satellite television. The floors are tile and covered with oriental area rugs. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and mahogany cabinets.

The bedroom is furnished with my grandmother's bedroom furniture and a Simmons queen size Beauty rest mattress for a restful night's sleep. The doggie traveler isn't forgotten either, there is a cushy doggie bed too! At the end of the day, take a soothing bath in the whirlpool tub and enjoy the sunset from the romantic deck while horses peacefully graze nearby. The peaceful atmosphere and cozy cabin setting make it ideal for couples planning a romantic escape in South Carolina, with quiet countryside charm, comfort, and connection. You can also see the main house across the pasture.

The atmosphere is so serene you feel as though you have left civilization behind, but are only minutes from downtown Landrum and Tryon. Nestled in the heart of North and South Carolina's horse country, this hidden retreat offers the charm of romantic cottages near SC while surrounding guests with nature, peaceful trails, and unforgettable farm experiences. We have many different kinds of horses on the farm, including a Percheron French Draft Horse, Paint Horses, Quarter Horses, and our beloved 30+ year old Racking Horse.
