Laurel Cottage –  Dog Friendly Vacation Rental Cabin

The first step across the threshold always takes guests by surprise. Laurel Cottage, is our pet-friendly B&B, was named after our youngest son's first horse, has marvelous large crown moldings and a Dutch baroque chandelier to create an elegant atmosphere. It is tastefully decorated with antique furniture and part of our antique picture frame collection. There is also satellite television. The floors are all tile and covered with oriental  area rugs.

The atmosphere is so serene you feel as though you have left the pressures of the modern world behind you, but you are only minutes from downtown Landrum and Tryon.

The bedroom furniture is part of my grandmother's bedroom set. There is a queen size Simmons Beauty rest mattress for a restful night's sleep as well as a very cushy doggie bed. The living room has a satellite television as well as a Simmons Hide-a-Bed for that extra guest. Why stay at a dog-friendly hotel when you can stay at Laurel Cottage?
